Instagram displays images at set shapes, and matching them means your photo is not cropped or softened on upload. This preset gives you the three that matter:
- Square post at 1080 by 1080 (1:1)
- Portrait post at 1080 by 1350 (4:5), the tallest a feed post can be
- Story or Reel at 1080 by 1920 (9:16), full screen
Pick the size, then choose cover to fill the frame and crop the overflow, or fit to keep the whole image with padding. Portrait posts take up more room in the feed, so a 1080 by 1350 image tends to stand out more than a square.
